1978 Formosa 46

$59,000

46' Formosa 46 '78 "Kailani"

The owner of KAILANI wanted to update the vessel to his high standards and eventually go cruising, but receiving a job offer on the East Coast changed his plans. Rigging, including painting the mast and boom, was replaced in 2015, bottom sanded to fiberglass and epoxied with 5 coats of barrier coat, engine and engine systems were updated in 2018 and electrical systems were meticulously installed about the same time. The water pressure system, the galley stove system, AC outlets and aft head toilet are in various stages of renovation and need to be completed. The teak decking also needs attention, and the rebuilt winches need to be installed.

The Kelly Peterson Formosa 46 is a well-known blue water cruiser and could be ready to go again for someone willing to continue the project.
