Stella is a very special boat. Chris Robinson Built in Auckland New Zealand.
She was built 'cold modeled' in new Zealand in 1980 of multiple layers of Kauri wood set in epoxy resin and sheathed in fiberglass cloth. This is why she has faired so well over the years with minimal maintenance. Much better in fact that than a fiberglass boat of similar vintage.
In 2020- New Volvo Penta 3 cylinder diesel engine in with LESS than 30 hours.
20-hour maintenance completed August 2024
Full Boat Cover helps to maintain the wood.
